From one tweet to a movement.
NextGen Farmers Co-operative Society Limited is rewriting the story of agriculture for the youth of Ghana. It began on Christmas Eve 2024 with a single tweet that resonated with hundreds. Today we are a vibrant network of like-minded people united by one vision: to make agriculture an appealing, sustainable, and profitable venture for Ghana's youth.
“Can we form a group of interestedyoung Ghanaians who will love to gointo farming… We will be educated, get professionals on board, and whenthe time comes, we start farming!Ur mind dey?”
Hundreds replied. Within months those replies became a registered cooperative, 200+ members, and 70 acres of cassava in the ground at Afram Plains.
Why we exist.
